Anyone applying for a Work, Residence, or Family/Dependent visa for GCC countries—including Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Oman, and Bahrain—must pass this medical examination before departure to ensure they meet international health standards.

The entire screening flow is systematically linked online to ensure maximum accuracy:

• Online Registration: Fill out your passport details, nationality, and destination on the portal.
• Fee Payment: Securely pay the registration fee online to generate your official Wafid medical slip.
• Center Assignment: The system automatically assigns an accredited medical center in your chosen city.
• Clinic Visit & Testing: Attend the clinic with your original passport and medical slip for physical exams, X-rays, and blood tests.
• Check Results: The medical center directly uploads the electronic status (FIT or UNFIT) to the Gulf authorities.

The total cost is divided into two parts:

• Online Appointment Fee: Online Appointment Fee: 15 USD (base fee, includes platform, banking & processing charges; countries may adjust this amount) – payable online during slip generation.
• Medical Center Fee: Medical Center Fee: BDT 8,500–9,500 (Bangladesh), INR 8,000–9,000 (India), PKR 20,000–25,000 (Pakistan), or 80–100 USD (other countries) – paid directly at the assigned clinic.

Note: Total estimated cost ranges around 80 – 100 USD based on local taxes and currency exchange rates.

No, applicants cannot manually pick a specific medical center. To prevent bias and maintain regulatory standards, the automated Wafid system randomly assigns an authorized and accredited medical lab or clinic within your selected city immediately after your registration is completed.

Timeframes are strictly regulated by the Gulf Health Council guidelines:

• Wafid Appointment Slip: Typically valid for 30 days from the generation date. You must complete your physical exam before it expires.
• Wafid Medical FIT Report: Valid for exactly 60 days (2 months) from the date of issuance. Visa processing must be completed within this timeframe, or a re-examination will be required.
